Haydarpasa Train Station is a very nice building. They want to make it a hotel but if you are lucky and visit it before it is closed to public, have tea in front of it.
Folks in NOLA are typically very friendly (and genuinely so), but everyone at the Pontchartrain, from the front desk to the Tresen to the housekeeping staff, seemed delighted to have us there.
Great opportunity to enjoy the city from ferry! Beautiful light at night are perfect to create romantic atmosphere. Ferries are located within 5 minutes from ur home, its so safe and easy to take it!
